Have you had time to explore the neighborhood around your downtown Houston apartments? Your new community is filled with some amazing eateries and cafes, and we want to make sure all our residents know about all the top-notch dining options. With that in mind, we’ve decided to write a blog post about some of the most popular restaurants and cafes in the area. Whether you’re looking for a low-key brunch spot or a lively place for dinner and drinks, you’ll find what you need in the blog post below.
Without further ado, let’s get right to the list of restaurants! When you get done with this week’s blog, please feel free to share the link to this page with your friends. Better yet, go ahead and share it with your neighbors at your community of River Oaks apartments! After all, you never know who might need some restaurant recommendations.
The first spot on our list has a gorgeous patio, but you probably won’t get the chance to experience that until the weather warms up. While you wait for spring weather, grab a seat inside Backstreet Cafe and enjoy a seriously upscale brunch experience. We highly recommend that you grab an order of the eggs benedict, as the hollandaise sauce is about as good as it gets in Houston. If you’re looking for a lively place for brunch, look no further than Backstreet Cafe. After all, it doesn’t get much more lively than a place with a live band!
The first thing you’ll notice upon stepping inside Americas Restaurant is that the owners paid special attention to the decor. It’s artsy, it’s fun, and it adds to the awesome ambiance inside this River Oaks eatery. This place specializes in South America and Central American cuisine, which means the menu is filled with delicious seafood dishes. If you decide to go, be sure to start things off with the lobster corn dogs. This dish doesn’t sound like something that belongs at a fancy restaurant, but it sure tastes like it does.
Last but not least, we have one of Houston’s favorite French eateries. Brasserie 19 is filled with white tablecloths, gorgeous French decor and perfectly-plated food. We’ve heard good things about the oysters, the appetizer with prosciutto and anything that comes with lobster. Give this place a shot next time you’re feeling fancy!
Those are all the restaurant recommendations we’ve got for you this week, residents!
